Episode 6: Richard Newcomb – Jets to Brazil / Orange Rhyming Dictionary

Episode 6 is now available on đźŤŹ, google play, Stitcher and TuneIn! I had the privilege to speak with my great friend Richard Newcomb about the rock band Jets to Brazil’s debut record from 1998 titled Orange Rhyming Dictionary, their first on indie label Jade Tree Records. JTB was a group that formed following the breakup of 3 key punk bands (JAWBREAKER, who reunited in 2017, Handsome and Texas is the Reason). We geeked out a plenty on the songs and courageously attempted to dissect singer Blake Schwarzenbach’s lyrics and possible correlations to what was happening with JAWBREAKER in the mid 90’s. Enjoy the conversation!
